Winning season gives Braves confidence

Discouraged that they weren’t able to complete their goal of reaching the playoffs, the Braves are determined to finish the season strong and maintain some of the momentum they built over the course of the past couple of weeks.
Chipper Jones said that if somebody had told him at the beginning of the season that Atlanta would notch 90 victories, he would have predicted a playoff spot.
The bid for 90 victories ended on Thursday night, when the Braves lost a third consecutive game. But regardless of what happens the rest of the way, they have come a long way from the 72-90 campaign they endured last year.

Finishing strong is always a good thing. It shows heart and determination. They are not giving up and still continue to go hard eventhough they know they are not making the playoffs.

Shows heart? What ever, they still lost. How does it feel to know you just missed the playoffs. I would think thats worst than knowing you had no chance in the first place.

Hey Mr. Wickles at tleast they not giving up. It sounds like your a quitter, if you lose or have no chance are you gonna give up. Do you play any sports and if you do what do you think you coaches would think of you cause you giving up before the season if over.

Oh no I’m no quitter. I will continue playing just for the fun of it, but I know when I have lost. As far as my team goes, we don’t lose so my coaches has nothing to worry bout. WE DON’T LOSE!!!!! NOW THAT’S HEART!!!!
